About Us

Greetings, from Sister Smith, Sister Thomas, Rev. Watkins and myself, Sister Johnson; we are The Prayer Group Ministry. 

Our mission is to change the world through prayer, not alone, but with all Christians all over the globe, and all who are going to become Christians.  The Bible says, we are to pray for all men (1 Timothy 1:1), to pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17).  Jesus said, where two or three gather in His name, He will be there in the midst (Matthew 18:20).  In other words, since we are Christians, we are "called to pray" by God Himself, to pray for all mankind and do it together and without stopping.

I am impressed greatly by George Muller, author of "Release the Power of Prayer."  He said that he provided for over 10,000 orphans without ever asking anyone but God to supply for their needs.  He said, he knew of at least 50,000 specific answers to his prayer.  His amazing personal testimony has helped me to allow my faith to reach out and receive God's promises.  As Christians, we all should take God at His word, and receive His promises through our prayers. It would help to create a world that is controlled by, "Thy kingdom come.  Thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven" (Matthew 6:10).  This is what our hearts and mouths should say, when we pray to God.  Then we would be following in the footsteps of Jesus.

When God revealed to me, Deloris Johnson, Coordinator of the Prayer Group Ministry, to start a home prayer ministry, and help other do the same; He told me what to name the ministry, and who to ask to help bring His will to fruition.  This Ministry is not by chance.  The members know that.  They have seen God operate clearer than they ever have; that's their testimony.  They are understanding the "call to pray."  That is why they are helping to carry-out God's will - praying for the world.

The Almighty God made me three very distinct promises when He told me to do this work.  He said to me that He would:

1. Bless the person who was obedient enough to start a home prayer ministry as well as their family members

2.  He will bless their community

3.  He will allow the home prayer ministry to reach the four corners of the world.  That's why this website exists; not because I decided or we decided, but because God decided that it was time to let the world know what He told me; so that more obedient Christians will start home prayer ministries.  My brothers and sister, start a home prayer ministry today and see the phenomenon of God.

Since the conception of this Home Prayer Ministry in September of 2003, we have prayed hundreds of prayers for people, situations and conditions of the world.  Some, we have seen answered, other we have not seen answer to yet, but we know that God will answer in His time, just as He does every prayer that is spoken to Him.  We want to say thanks to all of the people who have started home prayer ministries as a result of this Ministry.  Those of you that already have a home prayer ministry without ever hearing from us, we say God bless you!  Continue.  God will get the glory and you, your family, and your community will get the blessings.
